DETAIL ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI - HA LONG BAY – CAT BA TOWN (L/D)

08:00 - 08:30 Get picked up by our tour guide and bus then take a 3.5 hour drive through the rice fields to Ha Long. Have a short break halfway to relax and experience Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquer wares, paintings, pottery, sculptures, embroideries ...

12:30 Board daily Dragon Cruise, going through the limestone mountains projecting out of the emerald water.

13:30 Enjoy Vietnamese lunch on board while passing by beautiful Dog Stone, Incense Burner islet.

14:00 Stop at a fishing village to see the local fishermen community and learn more about their life in Ha Long. Continue passing by the symbol of Ha Long Bay, a “Fighting cock” rock for photo-hunting.

15:00 Visit Thien cung (Heavenly Palace) cave, the biggest one in Ha Long with thousands of wonderful stalagmites and stalactites in magical forms and shapes.

16:00 Get dropped off at Gia Luan dock, Cat Ba Island. Bus takes you for a scenic drive through Cat Ba National Park to Cat Ba Town.

17:00 Check in hotel, relax in the bar or go to Cat Co beaches nearby for swimming, sun-bathing at sun set.

19:00 Enjoy dinner in hotel restaurant. Free time in the evening to discover Cat Ba Island’s night life.

DAY 2: CAT BA - HA LONG - HANOI (B/L)

07:00 Have breakfast in hotel. Then bus takes you back to the harbor again.

09:00 Board our cruise for a nice journey back to explore other parts of Ha Long Bay. Relax on the sun-deck sunbathing, taking morning photos or socializing with fellow guests.

11:40 Leave the boat. You have a short rest before the bus drive to the restaurant in Ha Long city.

13:00 Say good bye to Ha Long, take a bus ride back to Hanoi.

17:30 Get dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi. Tour ends.
