ITINERARY
08.00: Tour guide and driver pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi center to visit Thanh Chuong Palace. From 200m away, we see a tower, overlooking the roofs of the estate’s temples and pagodas. We can view a summary of Vietnamese culture through the large wooden gate with buildings and artefacts from all over the country. The buildings in Thanh Chuong’s palace have many doors opening to different directions. This allows greater interaction between human beings and nature.
Throughout the buildings are many Buddha statues and ceramic, pottery and stone objects, which Thanh Chuong has been collecting for the last 30 years.
12.00: Have lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit Soc Son Temple, which was built from around 980 Le dynasty restored thirteen times, but it still keep the traditional architectural style. The temple is located on a spacious land with beautiful scenery between the immense trees and a clear space, climb up to the pagoda on the top of moutain you can see the biggest Buddah statue. Buddha Statue weight 20 tons of bronze and height 8,4m. On the side of pagoda that is Buddhism Institute.
