Join this exclusive City Insight’s tour, you not only have chance to wander along the colorful Hanoi streets but know how the artisans work with diligence and cleverness to prepare for Mid-Autumn Festival as well.

TOUR ITINERARY
Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi downtown at 14:00. We then head to visit an artisan who is the only person with her family in Hanoi’s vicinity preserving traditional star-shaped lantern (Đèn ông sao) making. Discussing the traditional stories behind and learning to make your own star-shaped lantern as a souvenir will make your trip truly unforgetable.
The next stop-off of our city discovery tour is one of the rare traditional mooncake bakeries in Hanoi. You have chance to taste the steaming hot flavor of the traditional mooncake and understand the differences between traditional and modern mooncake making since the mooncake production has been industrialized and changed rapidly in recent years.
Afterwards, we will wander through the hustle and bustle Hanoi streets filling with sounds, colours and light preparing for Mid-Autumn Festival and buy a small gift for yourself.
Finally, we will stop at an unique café in Hanoi Old Quarter. You have relaxing time enjoying the traditional Vietnamese mooncakes and learn more about Hanoi cultural values when watching the daily life of locals.
We return to your hotel late at night. Tour ends here.
