The Sofitel Saigon Plaza will organize Lyon Culinary Festival from September 20-22 with three of France’s top chefs - William Jacquier, Bruno Blunzer and Laurent Bouvier who are from Lyon which is recognized as the gastronomic capital of France.
The festival will offer connoisseurs a special menu at L’Olivier restaurant and Sunday Brunch at Cafe Rivoli, starting at VND680,000++ per person for a three course menu prepared by the chefs whose culinary skills are richly-appreciated at their restaurants Le Vivarais, sibilia Halles De Lyon and Toques Blanches Lyonnaises.
The dishes on offer include France’s traditional grand dish Oeufs en Meurette, Lyon-styled salad, Paté en croute, chicken liver cake,
Poultry in vinegar with a small casserole of vegetables from the garden, andouille (grilled chitterlings sausage) and boudin noir (blood sausage).
L’Olivier is a traditional French restaurant famed for its Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant pastry team is among the best in the country.
It is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (for lunch) and from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (for dinner).
