The Tram Chim National Park located at Tam Nong District,
Dong Thap Province is a wetland, is ranked in the SUF system of Vietnam. At
here, have many rare birds, especially the Sarus Crane, an extremely rare bird
species, listed in the Red Book.
With a total area of up to 7588 ha and a animal ecosystemsthe
diversity,Tram Chim National Park is the habitat of over 100 vertebrate
species, 40 fish species and 147 species of water birds. Of these, 13 species
of rare birds of the world. Especially a crane species known as Sarus Crane
(Grus antigone) or Sarus Crane and plus 130 species of plants, distribution as
well as alternating alone together form the characteristic vegetation communities
on the sediments, landforms. Beside, a VAST mangrove forest ecosystems
with woody vegetation located in a area
of 2968 hectares, on ASS (acid sulphate Soils) of Tram Chim National Park also
an interesting thing for tourists to visit here. At here, Tram disperse the
presence of many different natural grass made it a refuge of numerous birds
come here throughout the year. There will be countless other interesting things

At the moment, the Tram Chim National Park has launched a
12km green tour, including 4km on land, and 8km on water, for tourists to view
the park by electric cars and solar-powered boats. The electric cars and
solar-powered boats run at a speed of 30km and 15km an hour, respectively, and
do not cause noise. Their travel will not affect the living environment of
fauna, especially birds.
