
Tan Lap floating village or known
as Tan Lap cajuput forests, belonging to Moc Hoa district, Long An province,
about 100 kilometers far from the center of
Ho Chi Minh City. Being a typical
flooded land of the region, Long An is home to cajuput forest, lotus – water
lily, water hyacinth, wild rice and many species of animals as birds, storks,
fishes… Nowaday, Tan Lap floating village is a outstanding destination in Moc
Hoa District,
Long An Province with the vast cajuput forest, and the mysterious
paths leading into the forest.
Tan Lap covering over 135 ha and
the buffer zone of 500ha, there is the road about 5 kilometers-long through
cajuput, 10-floor observation tower with the height of 38m, and many other
functional areas such as environmental education, natural reserve, wild animal
migration, floating houses on stilts, park, pier… Of which, the path through
cajuput forest and observation tower have been put into operation and are
considered as the highlights of this
eco-tourism site.
Along the road are the towering
melaleuca trees. Light crept into the path gives us a feeling of being lost in
the fairytale gardens.
It also attracts many
photographers as well as couples coming to take wedding photos. Beautiful scenery, beautiful
streets, fresh air here promises to be a interesting place to with friends and
family to have a
perfect vacation.
