Ba Na Hill - City in Clouds

The city with the romantic beauty of an ancient European architectural style at the top of Ba Na Hill has become a wonderful destination in Da Nang for visitors coming from all over the world.

 Ba Na Hill, belonging to the Truong Son range, is 30km west of the centre of Da Nang. Located at altitude of 1,487m, Ba Na Hill is one of the highest mountains in Central Viet Nam with a year-round cool climate. Owning the outstanding advantages, Ba Na Hill has becomes one of the most impressive destinations in Da nang with many unique French-inspired architectural projects with a world-class modern cable car system.

Previously, in order to reach the top of Ba Na, visitors would experience 15km of rocky and dangerous mountain roads. Now it takes only 30 minutes by cable car.

 When going to Ba Na Hills, tourist will have an opportunity to enjoy music and special performances of street artists from many countries in the world.

 Standing at the top of Ba Na Hill, you felt to be in a fairyland of the earth. Anxieties and difficulties are gradually replaced by cheerful feelings in the vast clouds.

 When going to Ba Na Hills, visitors also have an opportunity to explore Lau Chuong, a unique Buddhist monument at the top of Ba Na. This place has a one ton copper bell which was cast very well. From Lau Chuong, the French village can be seen in the distance in clouds, far away from Da Nang, sparkling in the golden sunshine of the deep blue ocean.

 At night, Ba Na becomes quiet and sparkles magically. Temperature on the mountain will be as cold as the winter. Lights from Da Nang gradually appear warming up the cold night of the "city in the clouds."
