1.Danang Marble Mountains
About 9km south of Danang city
center on the famous beachfront boulevard Truong Sa, travelers can find one of
the most popular attractions of the region, the Marble Mountains. It is a group
of five marble and limestone mountains, named after the five elements of the
ancient oriental philosophy: metal, wood, water, fire and earth.
These mountains have a
complicated system of caves and tunnels. In the past they were used as hiding
places and important bases for the Vietnam revolutionaries.
2.Ba Na Mountain Resort
About 50km from Da Nang city to
the West, you can finally reach one of the most spectacular sights you would
have ever visited
People come to Ba Na for many
reasons but no one can deny that the rejuvenating atmosphere and the wonderful
scenery of Ba Na influence them the most when deciding to come to this unique
land. To get to the top of Ba Na Mountain, tourists would have to conquer a
15-kilometer zigzag road if they visited three years ago. Nowadays, as the
longest cable car system in the world has been constructed there, and you can
conquer 15-kilometer trip easily without too much energy.
3.Han Market
Considered as the most important
trading point of Da Nang City, Han market is popular among local and tourist
alike. Located at the grand intersection of Tran Phu Street, Bach Dang Street, Hung
Vuong Street and Tran Hung Dao Street, this famous market holds a very
important position in the history of the city.
Even though in the old days, Han
Market was only a modest trading venue for small businessmen, the convenient
and ideal location have enabled it to develop into a big trading center near
Han River, from which people gave it the name Han Market. Nowadays, as the
renovation gives the market a spacious and refreshing atmosphere, the
arrangement of stores inside the market also gives the customers a relaxing
feeling when shopping there.
Only 13 km away from the center
of Da Nang City, Son Tra Peninsula belongs to Son Tra District. This is a
typical Vietnam tourism magnet along the coastline: fantastic, untouched
natural scene with transparent sea, white sand, and mysterious primitive jungle
with a vast diversity of plants and animals.
If you ever have a chance to
visit Son Tra Peninsula, do not forget to stay at one of the villages built on
the mountains; those comfortable villages not only overlook the beautiful
beaches and jungles, but also provide you a fresh and invigorating atmosphere.
Besides, you can always enjoy fishing and get to know the lives of the
inhabitants whenever you want. Da Nang means Son Tra Peninsula, so come and get
