For so many people who love travelling, the mountainous and remote regions are always something interesting that urge them non-stop, and so, in their thought always popping up unique ideas and interesting plans for amazing adventure there. Chances are that they love natural beauty or simpler is only that they want to be close to nature where they will have a good chance to get back energy that the busy daily life took away them but after all, these are just our guess. Because in fact, nature is more interesting that we thought. It's very beautiful and unique. It's diverse and interesting, and sometimes it's extremely poetic and mysterious to make us curious about it non-stop. And that's why so many people often choose the way is to come back to nature after the hard-working days to be relaxed, rest and enjoy life.

1.Muong Hoa Valley – Sapa
The northwest mountainous area is always famous for its extraordinary and poetic beauty, which changes with every season of the year. For travel lovers, Muong Hoa Valley is one of the most famous destinations for breathtaking scenery and is the largest farmland for rice growing in Sapa. About 14 km from Sapa Town, Muong Hoa Valley is especially delightful. It is beautiful during in both the new rice and harvest seasons thanks to the unique terraced fields.

2.Ta Phin Village – Sapa
Though Sapa has long been familiar with tourists, Ta Phin Village is still a new name to almost everybody. About 17km in the west of Sapa, Ta Phin is a village of Red Dao’s people possessing a rich culture that has not been damaged by the modern life.

3. Cat Cat Village – Sapa
Cat Cat Village is located on the Muong Hoa Valley, this is the village of the H’Mong hill tribe. About  2 km from Sapa Town and takes you about 45 minutes to walk there. The village is on the slope of the hill and easy walking, rice field and corn are grown here. Visiting Cat Cat village, we can have a chance to visit a big waterfall on the stream and the old Hydro Electric Power Station built by the French here. That is the image of young women sitting by looms with colorful pieces of brocade decorated with designs of flowers and birds.
Located far from Sapa less than 10 kilometers, Ta Van is a village of Lao Cai province is lying peacefully in the valley of Muong Hoa. Residents here are mainly the H’Mong ethnic, Giay, and Red Dao… with approximately 1000 people. The road leads to Ta Van village that is small and narrow. Along two sides has a fertile terraced field which adorns by the green of corn and rice. When visitors come to Ta Van village, they will not be amazed at the simple beauty of the houses in the village.

4. Lao Chai Village – Sapa
Lao Chai village is 6 km far from the centre town, you will see Lao Chai village where the black H’mong people are living, it is also the beginning of a valley which is called Muong Hoa valley. From a high point of the main road 8 Km from Sapa town, great view of the whole village open wide to offer the marvelous panorama of the village, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terrace fields, stream, visit and discover some of the H’mong’s families, three large villages with over 100 families of the Black H’mong ethnic, and people here are quite hospitable.

5.Fansipan Mountain – Sapa
Located at the altitude of 3,143m above sea level, Fansipan or of is often called  “the Roof of Indochina” will be approved as one of the very few eco-tourist spots of Vietnam, with about 2, 024 floral varieties and 327 faunal species. The topography of Fansipan is varied. Muong Hoa Valley, at the lowest altitude (950-1, 000m), is created by a narrow strip of land at the base on the east side of the mountain.

6. Tram Ton Pass – Sapa
The Pass is often called Heavens Gate, as its picturesque landscapes and magnificence resemble a gate to the Heaven.

The road between Sapa and Lai Chau crosses the Tram Ton Pass on the northern side of Fansipan, 15km from Sapa. At 1900m this is Vietnam’s highest mountain pass, and acts as a dividing line between two weather fronts. The lookout points here have fantastic views. Most people also stop at 100m-high Silver Waterfall, 12km from Sapa.

7. Ham Rong Mountain – Sapa
As going to Sapa, so many travelers often climb up Ham Rong mountain to enjoy a cool atmosphere and charming landscapes such as cloud ground and stone garden, gardens, garden of medicinal plants, especially the garden of various orchids and specific houses on stilts of ethnic minorities.

A great deal of rocks in shape of dragon claws and fin appear to our eyes and we will think of being lost in a wonderland. Standing on the peak, you will enjoy particularly interesting landscapes around as much as you wish and throw your view farer to make the most of poetic beauty of Sapa town looming in clouds.

8. Bac Ha Market – Sapa
Being a minority ethnic people market and located in 80 km from Sapa, Bac Ha is famous for its Sunday market which is a trading centre and meeting place for couples, friends, and relatives.

On every Sunday, Bac Ha hosts the biggest fair near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. It is the largest and most colourful market in the area and attracts throngs of villagers from the surrounded hill tribes. Some walk several hours for the weekly opportunity to trade and barter food, animals, clothes and household goods. Bac Ha Market is not only the place for buying and selling, but also a place for cultural and sentiment exchanging of locals here.
