La Ken Valley (There are a lot of Asian Melastome flower in the valley and local people named as “La Ken” local name) is located in Tan Hoa village, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province. It is about 70km North West of Phong Nha. 

The tour is designed for 2 days and 1 night trekking, overnight at campsite on the side of the lake and waterfall of To Mo Valley, where tourist will experience in living in the jungle by the lake and waterfall. The trekking distance is about 8km and take about 6 hours trekking to visit Hang Chuot (Rat cave) and Hang Uoi (Gibbon cave), Hung Ton cave, and Hang Song cave. Tourist will walk from the village to La Ken valley from Hang Chuot the cave spreads from one side to other side of the mountain to visit Gibbon cave, after that will trek up to a small mountain to Hung Ton Valley to visit Hung Ton cave, overnight camp at a lake and waterfall in front of Hung Ton cave’s exit in To Mo Valley. 

Tour start at 07:00am from Phong Nha and finish around 17:00pm at Phong Nha town.

TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1: Phong Nha -Tan Hoa-La Ken valley (L,D)

08:00 Depart from Phong Nha to Tan Hoa Village by Army Jeeps/Van

09:30 Arrive at trekking point at Tan Hoa and start trekking through Hang Chuot to reach La Ken valley

10:00-11: Visit Hang Chuot cave

12:00 Arrive at Basecamp by La Ken river- Lunch

14:00-17:00 Tubing and fishing campaign at La Ken river

19:00 - Overnight at campsite on the side of La Ken river

20:00 - Night fishing and animal watching

Day 2: Gibbon cave  - Tan Hoa -  Phong Nha (B,L)

07:00 - Breakfast: 

08:00-11:00- Explore Gibbon cave

11:30-12:30 - Trek back to Tan Hoa Village (1 hours) for lunch

14:30 - Car pick-up and transfer to Phong Nha
