HCM City, Nhieu Loc- Thi Nghe Tour

From on September 1,  a boat tour on the Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe canal will be launched by The Department of Tourism together with the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City. 

On this tour, visitors have the option to stay in splendidly decorated boats with roofs and safety equipment to float past poetic scenes along the 4.5-kilometre-long canal, which runs through Districts 1 and 3, Binh Thuan and Phu Nhuan.

In the tour, visitors are listening  narrate the story of the formation and development of the channel as well as the historical development of Ho Chi Minh City by guides tours

  

With this type tourism, vacationers currently have two options includes:

 

The first type : 10 “Phung” (Gondola) boats - each can carry 2-6 passengers together with one boat rider. Besides exploring the city’s sceneries, visitors are treated to folk music.

The second type: two boats – each designed with capacity of 7-20 passengers, mainly serving families or companies. Tourists can bring food and beverages on board.

For years Ho Chi Minh City has focused on the development of waterway tourism by making the river tour around Gio and District 9, and the launch of the tour as scheduled to bring new exploration experience to tourists and tourism development of the inland waterways of the city.
