Arrive in Can Tho - Do not forget to visit Cai Rang floating market

Cai Rang is a district of Can Tho city, from the city center about 5km. It has appeared 100 years and becoming a destination for consumer agricultural products in the CuuLong (Mekong) Delta region. At there, apart  from selling fruits and vegetables from the district, it also offers special agricultural products from neighbouring provinces. The region's food, specialties and handicraft products are brought to the market as well.

 The market is open every day from early morning and attracts hundreds of boat, specially during festival and holiday, up to 500 boats to visit. Each day, It attracts 500 – 700 local and foreign tourists to visit and discover the life of local people at there. The Cai Rang floating market reflects cultural and tourism characteristics of Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region.

 Cai Rang floating market meeting all day but especially in the morning, while it was still cool and the sun also helped soothe. Merchants gathered by boat, Shoppers also by boat.

 Like many other market Vietnam, floating market goods are varied  from fresh foods, whole grains, fruits local specialties ....

 When coming to market, you can know immediately the types of goods are selling on the boat because each boat will hang goods on a bamboo pole plug on the boat.

 It attracted more tourists because visitors are visiting the floating market are enjoying some products on the main waterways of row boats of people here in the warm, affectionate, and communities also follow people to gather on the river. Specialty, you can find here the rustic dishes characterized as Southern sweet bread soup, tapioca pudding, noodles garden ... with exotic but affordable price.
